yippy... my trip to pennsylvania proved very successful. somehow, my timing was perfect.

i managed to to pick up a collection of vintage buffalo plaid (red and black) men's

hunting jackets.

i think i happened upon one elderly guy's stash...i mean i'm talking plaid

trousers, wool jackets, lettermen sweaters, leather bombers. this should really help boost

our small but growing men's department. last season, we sold out of everything we put into the collection. WE LOVE YOU, men.

speaking of collections, i've been on a "FEED THE WOMEN THEIR OXFORD SHOES" rampage

so many of you have told me how difficult it is to find a decent pair of interesting oxfords.

WELL... DON'T I KNOW IT...

last week that all changed, i was able to find some great examples of vintage oxfords...

lots of variations: think brogues, wing tips, clunky, sexy, bank manager...woven leathers, patent

leathers, great color combinations...all different styles from the 40's to the 80's...

remember these are one-of-a-kind...if you're lucky enough to find a killer pair in your size,

GRAB THEM ...once they're gone, they're gone. (our fall stuff arrives wednesday, sept 9th)

all of our summer clothes are being offered at 30% off right now...we've been selling lots of it

but there's still a bunch of cool stuff left...we need to clear the racks within the next 2 weeks
